Alizarin. Oil on cardboard. 28x38cm.
Alizarin is the name of a dark red pigment. I used this colour almost exclusively for this painting, but of course with white and a touch of indigo.
It is painted on a thick piece of cardboard which you can insert in an empty frame or put in a frame with glass, preferably with a window mounting
